I would love to know more about non invasive procedures to cure type specific problems in the brain, I have never been a fan of drugs that don’t cure the problem without causing a side effect because of their structure, not a fan of drugs period. As someone with mental illness in my family (Alzheimer’s) I have always worried about inheritance and the slow progression of science in this field and your work here seems very interesting from a technological point of view. Stuff like this should be the norm in research, curing with light sounds very Star Trek but I am sure that with people like professor Ed Boyden behind the science, change will come sooner rather than later. Breathtaking stuff.
